Hibernation

It's been a rough couple months in Rivet and Roam land, but Spring is coming (right??)!  We ended up back at Roamer's Rest for a few months due to a crazy unusual Portland winter with almost a foot of snow and very cold temps.   We definitely needed the 30 AMP hook-up to run our extra little heater and to not have to worry about finding a dump station since we certainly didn't want to take the Airstream out on the crazy icy winter roads.

We have also been hit with a variety of winter colds and plagues so it's been a bit of a forced hibernation season for us.   At the end of the month, we will be hitting the road again but not with the Airstream (believe it or not!)  Both Bill and I were accepted in to a workshop/portfolio review at Chico Hot Springs (near Livingston, Montana) hosted by Collective Quarterly.  So we will be headed there while the Airstream gets some repairs done at the dealer.   Stay tuned to some awesome Montana and Yellowstone pics in our next post!

We managed to get out and up to Mount Hood for a fun snowshoe trek on one of the few sunny days this winter.
