Return to the Crooked River

After the awning incident put the kibosh on our Alvord Desert trek, we decided to head back to the Crooked River (where we spent a lovely, chilly New Year's!).   Camping is still a steal at only $8/night and we were able to score our favorite spot.   It's the start of prime fly fishing season on the Crooked River but it still wasn't super busy.   It was a mellow weekend of fishing, hammock naps, campfires and a little kayak time on Walton Lake.
